The mission of the Japan Society of the Cayman Islands is to build bonds of international cooperation between the Cayman Islands and Japan. We believe that the most effective way to foster a meaningful relationship between our two countries is to send our best representatives forth to build friendships and networks that will last forever.

Building Bonds

JSCI also seeks to be a resource for individuals and companies within the Cayman Islands that are interested in Japanese language, culture, customs, and business. If you are based in Cayman and have any questions related to Japan, please contact us and we will be more than happy to assist.

Additionally, we can help Japanese individuals or companies with any Cayman-related inquiries.

The short term goal of the JSCI is to petition the Japanese government to allow visa-free travel for Cayman passport holders. This will allow for more Caymanians to experience Japanese culture and will improve international relations between Japan and the Cayman Islands.

The ultimate, long-term goal of the JSCI is to establish the Cayman Islands Embassy in Tokyo, Japan. The financial services and legal sectors of the Cayman Islands economy, in addition to the tourist sector, would greatly benefit from this act of international cooperation.
